As a child during Winter break from school, I grew up with a nectarine tree nearby that would bloom small buds and flowers despite the cold weather. In this design, I imagined the natural matrix of the turquoise stone as branches with a single sculptural bloom at the end signifying the florals.

How it's made...

Turquoise stone on hand sawed, textured, and filed sterling silver. Soldered with simple bezel, single shot, and medium half-rounded double band. Darkened with natural liver of sulfur. Tumbled. Polished with micro-crystalline wax.
