THE STUDIO

Years ago, when I was a young and broke student, I carried everything in a small metal lunchbox. The more classes I took, the more I realized I would need more space and organization. So, I started making a wishlist of all the equipment, supplies, and tools I would dream of one day having. Originally, my wishlist came from humble beginnings, but with time and wisdom it grew more extravagant. I didn't know it then, but I was on my way to becoming a serial hoarder; but let's be real, what artist isn't? Admittedly, my bank account dramatically suffered. My brain asked, "Why!?", but my heart said, "Add to cart." Next thing I knew, I somehow unintentionally started a secret second locker on my college campus where I sold metals and tools to students to help get them by on their schoolwork. Years later with the money I saved up, I acquired the space for a studio with all the neat gadgets and gizmos aplenty, but quickly realized that I'm just one person juggling many balls; worse is that I don't know how to juggle (yet). In hindsight, I should have planned better, but sometimes little fires happen. Failure is inevitable and there cannot be success without it. In all honesty to God, I couldn't have done this without the support of my friends and family because without them I probably wouldn't have gotten this far with my little strides.

Salamat from the bottom of my heart.
